 Workshop on Music

As part of EDU 301.3, Art and Aesthetic Education, there was a Workshop on music in our college. The resource person was Dr. Bhuvanachandran Nair; a poet, author, creative speaker and a drama researcher. The objective of the workshop was to convey how to teach effectively by including music into the subject and presenting a topic from high school in any musical form. 

The workshop has two section . In the morning section the resource person gave a detailed explanation on the importance of implementing music into teaching methods. He shared his experiences as a teacher and student. In the afternoon section we were divided into 11 groups according to our optional subject. I was in the 6 th group along with Ahalya, Arya, Christy and Pooja. 

We selected the chapter ' New numbers' from 9 th standard and prepared lyrics and presented it in the form of vanchipaattu

It was a wonderful experience. We enjoyed the presentation part verymuch
