Reflection on online teaching
Fourth semester online teaching During this pandemic situation, the normal school teaching practice is impossible. So, the teaching practice session of our 2019 - 2021 B.Ed curriculum , was through online . Online teaching practice for the fourth semester was from 28th February to 6 th March. There was 15 classes. Class was through Google meet. It was a good experience. As the subject is Mathematics, I was afraid that how the concepts can be conveyed to students. But with the help of technology, the classes were gone smoothly.

Workshop on Music EDU 301.3
Workshop on Music As part of EDU 301.3, Art and Aesthetic Education, there was a Workshop on music in our college. The resource person was Dr. Bhuvanachandran Nair; a poet, author, creative speaker and a drama researcher. The objective of the workshop was to convey how to teach effectively by including music into the subject and presenting a topic from high school in any musical form. The workshop has two section . In the morning section the resource person gave a detailed explanation on the importance of implementing music into teaching methods. He shared his experiences as a teacher and student. In the afternoon section we were divided into 11 groups according to our optional subject. I was in the 6 th group along with Ahalya, Arya, Christy and Pooja. We selected the chapter ' New numbers' from 9 th standard and prepared lyrics and presented it in the form of vanchipaattu It was a wonderful experience. We enjoyed the presentation part verymuch
